Flexible Power Systems (FPS) is delighted to announce that it has joined the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT).
CILT is an organisation committed to strengthening the knowledge and capability of logistics, transport, and supply chain operations. It is committed to delivering diverse and impactful activities to individuals and organisations across the logistics industry and has been an invaluable resource for the industry for some 100 years.
FPS is a software services provider to the logistics industry. Using a sophisticated, data rich approach and proprietary modelling tools, its software integrates across existing business ecosystems to deliver optimised solutions that are fit for the future for any or all parts of the commercial vehicle decarbonisation journey.
FPS has gained significant experience since its inception in 2018 and works with some of the UK’s largest logistics fleets on electrification programmes across all classes of commercial vehicle. The company also leads cutting edge research and development projects ranging from wireless charging demonstrations to building solutions to the problem of dispatch in electric emergency service fleets. FPS is also managing the software and data for Project JOLT, an industry led initiative that seeks to understand through demonstration the impact of eHGVs on logistics operations.
Anne Gray, Corporate Development Executive at Flexible Power Systems commented: “FPS is an IoT company with strength in transportation decarbonisation, and we’re proud to be at the leading edge of innovation in the commercial fleet electrification arena. On a practical level, we pride ourselves on working hand-in-hand with our customers to understand their specific transport operations needs, overcome hurdles and implement solutions that work operationally, financially, and sustainably.
“I am looking forward to connecting with CILT members, whether in person at events or through the CILT Community Platform to discuss lived experience of, and attitudes relating to, commercial fleet electrification.”
